10 Fun-Filled Things to Do in Raleigh This Fall

Colorful leaves, cozy vibes and marvelous weather make autumn a wonderful time to be in Raleigh. From spooky hayrides to food festivals, there’s an endless amount of things to do in Raleigh this fall. Here are ten of our favorites to add to your calendar.

Tailgate at a Game

Nothing says ‘fall’ like tailgating at a football game! Put on your red and white, grab your cooler and head to Carter-Finley Stadium on game day to get your Wolfpack tailgate on. If hockey’s more your style, that’s cool because we tailgate at hockey games too! Head to PNC Arena to cheer on the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes.

Raleigh Farmers Market

Stock up on pumpkins, apples and other fall fares at the Raleigh Farmers Market. Shop more than 30,000 square feet of fresh produce, plants and specialty items from local farms. Visit Nov. 9th to Nov. 11th to find unique gifts for everyone on your holiday list at the Fall Craft Fair!

Casktoberfest

The 7th Annual Casktoberfest is one of the top things to do in Raleigh if you love beer! The festival will also celebrate National Taco Day by serving tacos alongside traditional bratwurst and pretzels!

Raleigh Beer Week

Speaking of beer… raise a glass to Raleigh’s diverse beer scene during Raleigh Beer Week. The eight-day celebration is currently underway and ends October 6th. More than 40 venues participate by hosting special events and serving rare beers. Take an educational sampling of IPAs at House of Hops, or get your party on with Octoberfest at Trophy Brewing.

For one of our favorite things to do in Raleigh this fall, escape to the country for some fresh air and fun times at Page Farms. Pick your own pumpkin from the vine to take home and carve. Admission to the farm is $13 and covers all activities, from exploring the corn maze to sliding down the haystack slide.

10th & Terrace Rooftop Bar

Grab a drink and watch the sunset over the Raleigh skyline at 10th & Terrace. Located on top of the Residence Inn, the rooftop bar is the newest and tallest in Raleigh. The menu offers small plates that are specially crafted to complement the cocktails. Order a few to share with friends!
