First Night Raleigh 2018
Ring in the New Year at the 27th Annual First Night Raleigh 2018! Enjoy nearly 100 different music, theater and other performances in over 35 venues in the Downtown area. A ferris wheel is a romantic way to get a new perspective on our city, and the Fayetteville F5 amusement ride will get your adrenaline pumping! If you’re looking for a new hobby to pick up, check out the daytime DIY Festival from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the NC Museums of History and Sciences. Just make sure you’re on Fayetteville Street right before midnight for the WRAL Countdown to Midnight and the famous Raleigh Acorn Drop!
Boodle Fight and Boodle Night
Forget the typical New Year’s Eve festivities and celebrate at MOFU Shoppe with a “boodle fight!” This Filipino Military tradition involves a feast placed a long table lined with bamboo leaves. Every participant, regardless of rank, stands shoulder to shoulder and eats together as a symbol of camaraderie, brotherhood and equality. It’s called a “fight” because traditionally the feast is eaten with your hands and everyone must fend for themselves. MOFU will provide bibs and disposable gloves so you can go at it and keep your festive outfit mess-free! Stay after dinner for Boodle Night and sip special drinks featuring Boodle British London Dry Gin while dancing to music played by DJ Zach Nobel. Make it until midnight for a champagne toast.
New Year’s Eve with John Heffron
Laugh your way into 2018 with New Year’s Eve with John Heffron! Skip the chaos of the bars and enjoy a fun night of food and drinks from the comfort of Goodnight’s lounges and showroom. The late show includes party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.
iHeartMedia and G105 2018 New Year’s Eve Celebration

This 21-and-over event will be held at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel in Downtown Raleigh and will span across three ballrooms. Each ballroom will feature a different DJ, and The Redline Band will be performing live! Tickets include party favors, a photo booth, coat check and a VIP option with free champagne and access to an open bar and food table.
Triangle Restaurant Week 2018

After ingesting one dozen glazed doughnuts, it’s time to run 2.5 miles back to the belltower! All proceeds from the Krispy Kreme Challenge are donated to the N.C. Children’s Hospital.
